It takes a village, and Haus of Visions, along with Teen Boss Academy, wants each one of you to, as they say, “get in where you fit in” by volunteering time, sponsorship, an internship, mentoring, or a monetary donation. “The children are the future, and we must secure the future of our city’s youth.

Shioban Peters, AAS, BA, MSW
Founder & Community Exective
Shioban M. Peters is a dedicated social services professional, youth advocate, and community leader with extensive experience in case management, training and development, youth counseling, and program administration. Currently serving as a Case Manager with Anchor House's Connect to Home program, she specializes in helping individuals and families navigate housing, supportive services, and life transitions. With a background spanning nonprofit leadership, youth mentorship, workforce development, and community engagement, Shioban has founded and operated impactful programs focused on education, life skills, and empowerment for young people. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, an Associate degree in Psychology and Sociology, and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. Passionate about creating opportunities and building stronger communities, Shioban is committed to empowering youth, supporting families, and developing programs that create lasting positive change.
Nicole Fitchett
Founder & Managing Director
Nicole Fitchett is a driven professional with a background in systems analysis, administrative operations, and community leadership. With nearly two decades of experience supporting organizational success through strategic thinking, process improvement, and strong interpersonal communication, she brings both structure and heart to every space she enters. Known for her adaptability, professionalism, and ability to lead under pressure, Angelique has built a reputation for turning challenges into opportunities for growth and impact. eyond her professional career, Angelique is deeply passionate about empowering youth and strengthening underserved communities. As the visionary behind her community-focused initiatives, she advocates for mentorship, education, and safe spaces that inspire the next generation to rise above their circumstances. Her work is fueled by lived experience, compassion, and a belief that every young person deserves access to guidance, opportunity, and hope.

Whether coordinating projects, mentoring youth, or building meaningful partnerships, she leads with authenticity and a commitment to creating lasting change.
Rashard Burke
Founder & Exective Director of Events & Planning
Rashard Burke, MBA is an Executive Catering & Event Coordinator and Program Manager, as well as part owner of Haus of Visions LLC. Based in Jersey City, New Jersey, Rashard plays a key role in planning, organizing, and executing high-quality catered events, bringing creativity and operational excellence to every experience. He is also the owner of BMG Productions & Catering LLC, doing business as Burke’s 2 Go & Catering, where he leads culinary operations and delivers customized catering services. Beyond event coordination, Rashard is deeply committed to community engagement, developing and leading programs for teens and young adults. His work includes initiatives in music production, songwriting, film, culinary arts, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices through hands-on, educational experiences. Rashard holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management, along with specialized training in Cooking & Catering Management from Stratford Career Institute and Hotel & Restaurant Management from Penn Foster College. His combined expertise in hospitality and passion for community development drive his mission to create impactful events and empowering programs.catering services.
Shiquan Scurry
Project Manager
Shiquan Scurry is a dedicated community leader, public servant, and entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in security, operations, logistics, and customer service. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills while maintaining a commitment to service, accountability, and positive outcomes for the individuals and communities he serves. Beyond his professional career, Shiquan is the founder and operator of a growing lawn care and property maintenance business and is actively involved in community development initiatives. As a member of Haus of Visions since 2025, he has played an active role in supporting youth development, community engagement, and creative programming. He also helped launch the NextGen Studio Project, an initiative focused on empowering young people through media production, technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Driven by a passion for mentorship, economic empowerment, and community impact, Shiquan is committed to creating opportunities that strengthen neighborhoods, support youth success, and inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators.
